Document and Organization Management▾
Most caregivers find that knowing the existence or location of documents and various online accounts can be a time-consuming task. Pleaides provides the ability to track gaps and assign roles for management. Documents and account access information can be stored securely in your dashboard, or stored offline with the ability to easily view contact information.

Aligning Quality of Life Preferences▾
As a caregiver you have the best of intentions, but often loved ones/care recipients and their supporters see future happiness differently. List what you feel is important. Subscribers are able to send this survey to loved ones entering a new phase of life, family members and others involved in care, to assess where alignment exists, and where there may be gaps.
How to answer this section
  • Answer for the loved one or the person receiving care. Choose what you believe they want, based on your own understanding of their wishes, not what you would choose for yourself or what feels most practical. If you are planning your own care, answer for yourself.
  • Current vs. future. “Current” is how things are today. “Future” is what you believe they would want if their needs change, for example if living alone or driving were no longer safe.
  • Go with your best understanding. If you are not sure what your loved one would say, give your best guess or leave the question blank. Gaps are useful: they show where a conversation would help.
  • There are no right answers. Others in the circle of care, and your loved one/care recipient, can complete this same section later, so you can see where your views line up and where they differ.

Daily Living Calendar Management▾
Pleaides’ scheduling calendar allows tasks to be assigned, accepted and viewed by others based on permissions you create. For each task, specify where help is needed, and should be assigned and/or viewed by others. Tasks can be organized by each care member’s location, so tasks are appropriately assigned (example: someone in another state cannot be assigned driving tasks).

End of Life Planning▾
As caregivers there is no control over end of life, but establishing clarity on preferences creates alignment amongst the circle of care. Please list where preferences are clear or where there is need for future discussion.
